Dude! what time is it!?

Jesus… How simple is this??? but so many of you mess this up and I want to line you up and give you a round of three stooges slaps. 8 in the morning?? really? Do you have nothing better to do but have them banging around in your thoughts first thing in the morning?? What do you think this communicates?? very very simple it communicates that you are obsessed that you have no life, that you worship the ground they walk on.

Oh and lets not forget the converse of this. 1:00 in the morning?? I hope it is a Friday night and you know she is out drinking with friends. Any other night of the week you are just asking for someone to be irritated with you, the last thing you want to encouage with a budding relationship. I have friends all over the US so I do understand when someone forgets what time zone I am in but I will certainly give them Hell about it the next day. There is no excuse for common courtesy and if you would rather not be assume you are an idiot, take a look at the clock while you are taking you third shot of tequila.

Texting errors

How important is it that you check your spelling? Grammar? Normally I would tell the other person to calm the hell down if they pointed out some error in my texting. However, sometimes this does matter. Not only that but if you are aware of it you can bust on the other person a little bit! (always look for fuel to tease, but keep it nice)

When to double check your texts? When the person you are talking to is the kind of person that might care! Would you walk into someones home that is neat freak with dirty shoes on? No of course not, that means that if you are interested in an English major you might want to take a few more seconds before you hit send. I personally think it is a very good habit to get into since it shows nothing but good thing about who you are. It shows you are intelligent and respectful enough to take the time, not to send a knee jerk response.

While you are looking over this text I would like you to think about the content as well. Are you really communicating what you want?? are you as witty as you want? I would challenge you to take the little bit of time to make sure you are one step ahead of your target. ESPECIALLY if you are a girl. Physical attraction is often over estimated while emotional/intelligence attraction is radically underestimated. If you show that you are the brightest mother f*cker she knows, it very could tilt the scales in your favor.
